Blitz is a Japanese tuner that has been in business since 1980, and which prides itself on improving performance while maintaining the good driveability you need in Tokyo traffic. Even so, it produces some kits that increase power a great deal.
Blitz makes supercharger and turbocharger kits for many sporty Japanese cars, including the Mazda RX-8 and Miata (MX-5), Toyota Celica and Soarer (Lexus Coupe).
Blitz also produced a kit to turn the Nissan Skyline of 2003-4 into a monster with 850 bhp at 9,300 rpm! The car was reckoned to reach 60 mph in 3 seconds, and hit over 200 mph. All the gear was really crammed in under the hood.
Blitz uses KKK Turbochargers, which are controlled electronically so that they do not operate at idle or very light load, thus improving fuel economy. Also, to improve efficiency the kit includes a large intercooler.
